We understand that smooth maintenance is crucial for you and that downtime must be avoided at all costs. To best support you in this regard, we would like to proactively inform you about an important change in the product portfolio of Lenze that affects the Global Drive product family.

Below you will find a letter from our partner, which provides you with all the necessary information and gives you the opportunity to replenish your stocks in a timely manner.

Discontinuation of Production and Replacement Supply for the Global Drive Product Family (Type 8200 Motec, 8200 Vector, 9300 Vector, 9300 Servo, ECS)

Dear Sir or Madam,

With our solution portfolio for drive technology, we help our customers build and operate machines and systems successfully worldwide. However, the further development of this portfolio requires us to focus on the essentials and respond to market developments. In 2016, we first announced the discontinuation of marketing for the Global Drive product family. Further communication took place in 2019 to inform you about the limited availability of replacement devices.

Today, we would like to inform you that as of April 30, 2025, all deliveries related to the Global Drive product family (Type 8200 Motec, 8200 Vector, 9300 Vector, 9300 Servo, ECS) will be finally discontinued by us. To allow you to stock up on replacement devices if necessary, we are offering you the opportunity for a final order for these phased-out series until October 31, 2024.

The procurement of individual central components and parts through our suppliers can no longer be guaranteed consistently today. Therefore, we can only check availability after receiving your order and confirm what can be manufactured.

We want to assure you that even after the deadline, we will continue to work on providing alternative solutions for any future needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. Use the remaining time until October 31, 2024, to place your orders and prepare optimally.

In summary, we would like to emphasize that we are always striving to provide you with the best possible support and minimize downtime.

We want to inform you that we are intensively preparing to offer our customers the best possible service in the future as well. The Lenze Service will keep spare parts for the affected series in stock over the coming years to ensure that we can quickly and efficiently handle warranty cases for newly ordered devices. Although repair options for this series may vary, we are committed to continuing to offer you support and finding solutions that meet your needs.
